So they went to a Jizo statue nearby and asked Jizo for help. They went there every day, rain or shine.<br />After a few years they finally had a child. When their beloved child was three years old, it became ill of an emidemic and died. THe parents were devastated.<br />When they went again to the statue of Jizo, they saw a light coming from the back and they heard a voice:<br />"Your beloved daughter has changed into this Jizo statue.
